Too Much Blood is moving right along toward publication. It’s been through all 3 edits now, and has received Editor’s Choice, just like Murder unnder the Microscope did last year. My editor, bless her heart, has been nothing but complimentary and encouraging. I got a couple more reviews from a couple of bloggers that were over the moon. I’m going to try to post them here if I can figure out how.
I had to get a new computer this week because the old one died for the second time this year. I had the motherboard replaced a few months ago; thank God I had purchased a service plan that covered it. Now I have Windows 7, and had to change my e-mail program, and I’ve spent the last 3 days wrestling with it. I’ve been on the phone with tech service twice, and I think I’ve got it now. Good thing because I have to work next week. After that I’m off to Philly for 2 weeks, and then back to work for the rest of the summer while my partners get to go play.
Grievous Bodily Harm is up to 15 chapters now. I’ll work on it in Philly. When I get home from work all I want to do is crash. Watch NCIS reruns. Have a Scotch. Eat something fattening.Read someon else’s mysteries. Go to sleep. Start all over again in the morning.
I went on line and bought used copies of all of John J. Nance’s books. I’ve had occasion to read a couple of them, and I liked them, so now I’m reading the rest of them. He writes aviation mysteries, and I’ll try not to take any of it seriously when I’m reading them en route to Philly and back.
